Our May 2003 speaker was Pastor Andre Henderson.

Pastor Henderson shared some of his life stories as a caution and inspiration to us. He described the result of his own personal disobedience to the Lord. His disobedience was staying in a place God had clearly told him to leave – this resulted in the death of a daughter, a divorce, loss of his ministry, and a loss of his eyesight due to diabetes. He admitted to being severely humbled by the Lord and yet still joyfully praises God for his grace and mercy.

After finally obeying the Lord and having a few faithful friends like Jim Cary (CEO president) stand by him, Pastor Henderson is being restored to ministry. He is starting a ministry in City Heights and assisting in a ministry in South Africa.

God has been good to him and faithful, even in the valleys.
